THE TEAM
PROFESSIONAL SKATING COACHES
Are you or your skater or hockey player looking for a way to become a better stronger skater? Enrolled in Learn to Skate but want to learn at a faster pace? Want more one on one attention? Look into taking private lessons with one of our private coaches!
Want to take your skating skills to the next level?
Our ice skating trainers are here to help build your talent as a competent recreational skater, competitive figure skater, or skilled hockey player. With numerous years of experience, our staff of coaches would love to work with you. Private lessons for all ages and levels are encouraged to supplement group classes for skaters wishing to progress more quickly or who may wish skate competitively.
Unlike ballet, dance, or gymnastics, where learning occurs in a group lesson format most of the time, figure skating starts with group lessons to get your child going and then, is mastered through private lessons. So, if your child is interested in mastering figure skating, your next step is to select a private lesson coach.
Whether your child hopes to improve their figure skating skills or enhance their hockey abilities, MRC's Skating School offers exceptional private lessons. Our talented coaching staff is committed to helping you gain the ice skating skills you've always dreamed of.
Coaches are Independent Contractors
Private lessons offer the skater, regardless of age or skating level, the opportunity to work one-on-one with one of our professional coaches. Private lessons help the skater master difficult skills and progress at a faster rate with more individual attention Lesson dates, times, cost, and frequency are set up between skater and coach. Private lessons are offered for a variety of skills including: basic skills, test preparation, competition participation, freestyle, moves in the field, ice dance, power skating, synchronized skating and ice hockey.

I started skating as a child following many years of watching people fly across the ice on television, mesmerized. My summer camp took a field trip to the local rink for public skate... I was hooked! I begged my parents for skating lessons so that I could skate like Kristi Yamaguchi, my idol.
I have been figure skating for over 20 years. It has been, by far, the most positive influence in my life.My coaches instilled a love for skating in me that will last a lifetime. I learned so many lessons about never giving up, always working towards what I want, and what it will take to make me a better skater, and person. My philosophy...Patience. Diligence. Encouragement. Passion.
This is still what I strive for when I am coaching. i believe that skating is something that really becomes a part of you. It teaches you far more than simply how to jump and spin. I love the sport of skating and take joy in being able to pass that passion on to my students.
If you would like to know more, please contact me to schedule a lesson.

I started skating around the age of 9 in Florida after my cousin had her birthday at a local rink. I fell in love immediately and started with the Learn to skate program and then went on to private lessons a few months later. In 2004 our rink started a Theater class which great into a competitive Theater on ice team. I skated with the Space Coast Hurricanes for about 12 years. We were ranked 4th in the world in 2010 after competing in France and 1st in the National for many years.
As a soloist I competed National showcase, State Games of America, Regional’s and many other competitions.
Figure skating has always been my passion and love. It taught me independence, responsibility, and drive
